The Crystal Lake Cold Plunge is a unique opportunity to test your limits, boost your immune system, and come together as a community. Whether you're a seasoned Wim Hof practitioner or a first-timer looking for a thrill, the lake is waiting.
After the shock of the cold, warm up by the fire! This is a family-friendly event designed for fun and connection.
Hot chocolate and marshmallows taste better after a freeze.
Snow permitting, bring the kids for sledding on the hills!
Every shiver counts. All proceeds from this event go directly to Warriors Journey Home, a local non-profit dedicated to supporting members of our military.
Mark your calendars and prepare your towels. Here is everything you need to know for the big day.

"As a 39-year-old mom of three, the polar plunge pushed me completely out of my comfort zone, but the adrenaline and sense of accomplishment afterward were incredible. It was a refreshing reminder that I am stronger and braver than I think even in freezing water."
- Angie A.
"Jumping into a cold lake is a little absurd, a little uncomfortable, and somehow really fun. One thing is guaranteed: you'll come out with a real sense of accomplishment."
- Kyle K.
"My feet hurt, my hands hurt and I'm cold, but it might have been worth it."
- Joseph T.
No! This is inherently dangerous and you should not do it. However if you decide to anyway then it is your liability to ensure you have physician approval, are healthy enough and able to withstand the cold and shock to your mind and body.
Most people wear a swimsuit, but you can wear a costume! We recommend bringing warm wool socks, a robe/parka for immediately after, and easy-to-put-on shoes.
There will be stalls available to change but there will not be restrooms available.
Absolutely! Kids and spectators are free. They can plunge with a parent or just enjoy the sledding and snacks.
